Salt-A-Holic...Guilty!!!

I am guilty of loving salt from my childhood to present.


Butter is great but I loved salt on my popcorn and I would put it literally on EVERYTHING!


For years, I would add salt to foods without even tasting them. It was hard to break this habit but eventually I was able to modify my intake.


Nausea can be relieved in multiple forms but salt was usually my remedy.


I recently had too much salt and my ankles became swollen.


My salt addiction has taken years for me to deal with and it must be resolved very soon.


I do not want to give my body a wide array of health issues that could lead to even more serious illnesses.


What can I do to replace salt?


I found ways to use fresh ingredients and seasonings that absorbed flavors that did not require me to use salt.


When foods are prepared with tons of seasonings and flavor, you rarely notice that you have not added salt.


I will continue to pace myself this week, and try to modify my direct salt intake.
