Frameworks and Programming Languages

I hate to admit how old I am. I really know the differences between legacy programming languages and how the United States and most other nation-states opted to implement Java everything into our ecosystems.
Why Java?
It was cost-effective. It was a means of making a quick win and it did not require much consensus the same what that more complex languages like R, Python or Ruby required.
It is like making a meal. With Java, you can be fed and content but what if you like premium meats like me. I like high end fare, so I wanted to know what other options were out there for me to work with.
I researched tons of Frameworks and Programming Languages and I arrived at the same conclusion that all an organization really needs is the PCI DSS Prioritized Approach and the HITRUST CSF and all of the domains that can be exposed is covered under the ASIS International seven domains which gives an holistic approach to security.
I am spoiled and fell in love with my seven ASIS International domains, because it gave me unlimited access to any security in existence. I have no shame in saying the implementation of such a sophisticated framework would take about 3 - 6 months to implement and there would be so many dually covered areas that breaches would be non-existence.
In the interim, I will remain positive that although FORTRAN and COBOL are not used liked Java they truly are still appreciated and valued like my background in holistic security.
